Drop Shipping with IEP

What is drop shipping?
Drop shipment or drop shipping is a type of retailing where the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead passes the customer's order and shipment details to the wholesaler. The wholesaler then dispatches the goods to the customer directly. The retailer makes their profit on the difference between the wholesale and retail price.

Getting Started
If you are interested in drop shipping with IEP Wholesale please contact us via phone, fax, email or by sending us a message on our website. We will contact you to take some details and once authorised, your account will be activated within 24 hours.

How It Works
Once you have received an order for our goods, you then pass this order to us via phone, fax, email or by sending us a message on our website. You will need to provide full details of the order including a delivery address, contact name, telephone number and any special delivery instructions. You will also need to provide a payment method. We will then process the order and add the correct delivery charges. Please see ‘Delivery’ below for more details on charges. Once full payment has been made we will then dispatch the goods to the specified address and send you a confirmation email with your invoice and a tracking reference. All goods will be sent without paperwork so your customer will not know where you buy your goods.

Orders are dispatched with our courier on an express delivery and should be delivered within 1-2 working days of dispatch. There will need to be somebody available at the address provided 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday to take delivery of the goods. If in the event that the courier cannot deliver the goods, a time card will be left. The customer will need to contact the courier to arrange redelivery. If a delivery is not rearranged in time a re-delivery charge may be applicable to your order.

Delivery charges are calculated per item and are as follows:

UK Mainland
• £15 for the first 2 items.
• £1.50 for any additional item thereafter

Prices shown are exclusive of VAT charged at 20%.
We can ship to other areas of the UK and Ireland on request but please contact us before placing the order as different shipping charges will apply.

Stock Availability
When your account has been activated you will be given access to our trade website, www.iepwholesale.com. Our website has live stock levels so you can keep track of the stock availability at all times. If an item is showing on the website as ‘Availability: Backorder’ it means we are not currently holding stock. If in the event that you place an order for an item that is out of stock we will notify you via email with a date when the stock is due to be available and the option to cancel your order. It is the responsibility of you, the retailer to check stock availability before making it available for sale to your customers.

No goods will be dispatched until payment has been made in full and the funds have cleared. We accept payment by card, cheque, PayPal or bank transfer. Some methods of payment can take longer to clear than others so please factor this into your delivery time. There is a 2.5% charge for payment using a credit card and a 5% charge for payment using PayPal. All other methods have no further charges.

Returns and Refunds
If for any reason the order needs to be cancelled after it has been dispatched or the goods are unwanted we must be notified within 7 days of receipt of items. We will then provide you with a returns code which you will need to pass on to your customer. Any items being returned must be sent back within 28 days of receipt with the returns code clearly marked. All items must be returned in original packaging ‘as new’. Once we have received the goods back we will check the items are undamaged and issue you a credit for the full amount of the goods. Any delivery charges or costs incurred returning the goods will not be refunded.

In the unlikely event the goods are faulty, incomplete or damaged on arrival we will need to be notified within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. We will then require photographic evidence clearly showing any damages or faults within 7 days of receipt. Once this has been received we can then process the claim and offer a replacement or refund. If we require the items to be returned we will send you a returns code to pass on to your customer.

Any credits raised will be automatically placed on your account to be debited from your next order total.
